Pasific Tsunami Museum

Pacific Tsunami Museum is a museum in Hilo, Hawaii dedicated to the history of the April 1, 1946 Pacific Tsunami and the May 23, 1960 Chilean Tsunami which devastated much of the east coast of the Big Island, especially Hilo. The museum also has a mission to educate people in general about tsunamis, including the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami.


It is located at 130 Kamehameha Avenue, Hilo, coordinates 19°43′33″N 155°5′12″W / 19.72583°N 155.08667°W / 19.72583; -155.08667Coordinates: 19°43′33″N 155°5′12″W / 19.72583°N 155.08667°W / 19.72583; -155.08667. A scientific advisor to the museum has written a book on the two major disasters.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo

The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo houses international and Japanese post-war modernism. Opened in 1995, it is Tokyo's first public art gallery for modern art. In addition to its permanent collection (admission 500 yen), it has regular special (usually about 800-1000 yen).

The permanent collection of 4,000 works, about 100 of them are on display at any time. It includes works by Andy Warhol (including its Marilyn Monroe (1967)), Roy Lichtenstein (including the Girl with Hair Ribbon (1965)), David Hockney, Gerhard Richter, Julian Schnabel, Frank Stella, and Sandro Chia.
The museum has free Internet access (directly opposite the entrance you use at the approach of Kiba Park), a restaurant on the B2 floor (open11am 6pm), a museum shop, an art library, art gallery information, a viewing platform And underground parking - but only for 50 cars (access recommended by non-car).

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (Vietnamese Bao Tang Dan toc hoc Viet Nam) is a museum in Hanoi, Vietnam, focusing on the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. It is based on a 3.27-acre (13,200 m2) property in the Cau Giay District, about 8 km from the city center.

It will be widely seen as the best modern museum in Vietnam and a tourist attraction in Hanoi.

The proposal for the museum was officially opened on 14 December 1987 approved. The construction lasted for 1987-1995, and it was on the 12th to the public Opened in November 1997.

The exhibition building was designed by architect Hà Đức Linh, a member of the Tay ethnic group in the form of a Dong Son drum is designed and the interior was designed by French architects Veronique Dollfus.

Opening times is 8.30 bis 17.30 clock clock Tuesday to Sunday

Atatürk's House Museum

This museum, a house where Atatürk stayed in February 1935, was opened to the public in 1986, in memory of Atatürk visit to Alanya. The first floor of the museum is an exhibition of Kemal Ataturk's personal items, photographs, historical documents and a telegram he sent to people in alanya.turkeyarena.com
The roomson the second floor, on the other hand, as a showcase for an old Alanya-style home, where examples of local ethnographic items are on display.

Russian Ethnography Museum

While the British Empire brought different nationalities from all over the world, the Russian empire of the 18th - Beginning of the 20th Century united the peoples who lived in the vast area between the Baltic Sea in the west and the Pacific Ocean in the east. Hermitage Museum, Saint Petersburg, Russia

The collection of the State Hermitage Museum contains more than three million works of art and artifacts of world culture. Among them are paintings, prints, sculptures and works of applied art, archaeological finds and numismatic material.
