The German Salt Museum

The German Salt Museum (also called saline) in Lueneburg is a great exhibition, where you can learn many interesting aspects about salt. Lüneburg was a very rich city in the Middle Ages because of the salt. The exhibition provides an interesting insight about salt in general, but also understand the importance of Lueneburg in particular and the way during the last 1000 years has been produced.
