Museum in Bielsko-Biała

The Biała Museum opened on 3rd December 1904 at City Hall, where he served until 1920. Then the activities of the museum were suspended, supported its exhibits in a room and the facility changed its purpose. It was not until 1932 that the museum was reopened, this time in the basement of the building, where he served until the outbreak of World War II when the museum closed.



The museum was Bielsko on to the general public 25th February 1906 in the building of the Old Town Hall opens at 9 Market Square, where it operated without a closure to 1941. In 1945 a resolution was adopted to revive the museum. The Municipal Museum in Bielsko opened to the public from 14 February 1947. Since the seventies of the 20th Century there were founded its local offices: the Julian Fałat's Villa (1973), the Museum of Textile Technology - now the Museum of Technology and Textile Industry (1979) and Weber (1992). Since 2001, the Museum of the Bielsko-Biala was known museum.

The permanent exhibition in the castle Bielsko includes a series of rooms on the first floor. Accession to the runs along the 19th Vestibule century, restored in 2001.
